The Reading Public Library is one
of the most heavily used in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, with
a circulation per capita of 13.17. The Reading Library is part of
the Noble library consortium and probably the largest. Now is one
of a handful of libraries offering wireless Internet access via loaned
laptops. CCAWireless is proud to welcome the Reading Library in our
family of technologically advance Public libraries. With over 38,000
square feet of space, opened to the Public in early 1984 it has become
one of the most recognized public libraries in the state.
Now with a complete wi-fi complaint wireless system covering all three
floors of this library the sky is the limit. The wireless network
configuration allows the library to move computers anywhere within
the premises. No more the restrictions of a fixed CAT-5 cable, it
is librarian dream. A wireless lab can be configured within minutes
through the use of laptops a teachers dream. The Internet is everywhere
and can now be discovered by patrons, sitting in one of this library
cozy corner away from the public traffic areas.
